About this page

This is the private drafting workspace for all DissMarket content. Nothing on this page is published. Use it to compose posts, prepare graphics briefs, draft journalist outreach messages, and stage any content that needs review before it goes live. When a draft is finalised, move or copy the content to the appropriate page or platform. Do not publish directly from here.

Every draft should follow the DissMarket voice: direct, data-first, non-partisan, no editorialising. If you are unsure whether a piece of copy crosses the editorial line, it probably does. Strip the opinion and keep the number.

Draft template: X post (poll launch)

Structure: Line 1 states the question. Line 2 states the current Polymarket price. Line 3 invites the vote. Line 4 links to the methodology or site. Tone: factual, no exclamation marks, no emojis beyond a single chart icon if needed. Length: under 280 characters for the main tweet; supporting thread replies can be longer.

Draft template: X post (divergence reveal)

Structure: Quote-tweet the original poll post. Line 1 states the resolved poll result. Line 2 states the Polymarket price at poll close. Line 3 states the divergence. Attach the Format A graphic. Follow with a three-reply thread that breaks down the numbers. No interpretation of what the divergence means politically or financially. The thread ends with a link to the methodology page.

Draft template: journalist DM

Structure: Greeting (first name only). One sentence explaining what DissMarket found. One sentence connecting it to their recent work (cite a specific piece title from the last 7-14 days). One sentence offering the data or a background briefing. Sign off as Neil. Attach the Format A graphic. Do not use a template-sounding subject line. Do not publicly mention or tag the journalist. Send from the DissMarket X account via DM, not email, unless email is the only channel available.
